Dabbel (derived from “decibel”) is a mobile social-networking soundboard. Its core concept is to send unique notification sounds to communicate with each other.
Dabbel is a fun-filled and an effortless application. To communicate with each other, users just need to start a chat and click on a text that is associated with a particular sound bites (provided by Dabbel which is no longer than 5 seconds). There are over 150 categorized sounds to look over, with weekly new additions. When sent, the receiving party will instantly receive a notification that plays the selected sound on his/her mobile device. Users have the ability to add a short message that will replace the default text with each sent Dabbel.
Users can either send the notification sounds in the personal or create a group and start Dabbeling to multiple people at once. Users have the facility to mute and/or block users to prevent being disturbed. Moreover, no sound will be triggered when a device is on silent or the account is in a paused setting. Users have the ability to stop auto playing notifications. A received message sound can be replayed either through the play button in the notification or through the history tab in the chat with the user.
Dabbel is free to use and will generate cash flow by means of both ads and in-app premium paid purchases. Dabbel’s premium features include removal of ads & additional premium sound bites.
